Slatt Apparel is black owned clothing brand and was established in May 2019 By Craig Nelson. The thought of the brand came from the word Slatt, but I came up with my meaning for it, Show Love All The Time. The meaning is deeper than the word. The narrative for the brand is "A Hood Brand With a Positive Message." Slatt was created on the south side of Chicago and is up and coming out of Iowa. I started off making hand-painted clothes or styling jeans for myself, but then I felt a real passion for clothing once I started getting compliments from others. So I completed the steps needed to become an entrepreneur in the clothing business. Not just to make money, but to pursue my dreams and do something that makes me happy, as you should you too.
